Hello and welcome to my world. My name is Evonne Naomi Fisher better known as Naomi. I am a 25 year old (not really 25 but who’s counting?!) mother from Northern California. Born and raised in the Bay Area, and decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia almost two years ago. What brought me to Georgia you may ask? An academic opportunity for my daughter. Before I move any further, I was a single mother for 12.5 years and then God blessed me with a wonderful man that is now my fiancé! Since the day I became a mother sacrifice has become my bestfriend. I have been and always will be a mother that will put my child and or children (being that I’m 6 months pregnant) before myself, my hopes and dreams and anyone else. My daughter has been a Scholar and Academic achiever since she was 3, don't mean to toot my own horn but BEEP BEEP! I have always been fully invested, and have taught my child since she was in the womb (no really, that’s actual and factual.) Over the years and even recently I’ve been told to write a book on how to raise a successful young black girl as a single mother, the proof is in the pudding guys, before I get side tracked… My daughter got into a really good Private school here and Ga, the moment we received her acceptance letter I told her “pack your bags sis, it’s time to shake this joint!” Moving to Ga, has been trying as hell, yet the best decision I could have ever made. The first few months maybe even longer than a “few” were literally the most difficult time of my entire existence (you will learn that I can be dramatic a lot of the time, but that statement is 100% true.) I’m sure there will come a day when I would be inspired to talk about that in full detail but the time is not right now. This is just a intro right?! think I have already said too much for now.. Keep up with me, continue reading my stories to learn more about myself, my struggles, and to actually be inspired. I have been through a lot of sh*t and being that I’m a very “open” person, I believe that my stories aren't only intriguing but can help a lot of people. I look forward to entertaining you all with my truth and opinions whether you asked for it or not, oh and I also give great advice!
